IT'S OVER!
The "Curse" has ended!
The Boston Red Sox are the "World Series Champions."
On the night of a Lunar Eclipse.
Who would of "thunk" it?(baseball talk) 86 years and they finally put the "Curse" of trading the "Babe", and won it all.
What can you say?

The St. Louis Cardinals ran into a buzz saw. The Red Sox won 8 games in row. Boston won 4 games to comeback from extinction against the dreaded Yankees, and then a four game sweep of the National League Champs to win the World Series.
Wow!
Is that spectacular or what?

I feel sorry for St. Louis, but if one team must win, another team must lose. I think it was destiny.
The "Curse" had to be broken sometime.

I'm not even from Boston and yet, I'm happier then a pig in slop.
Francona, the manager, referred to his players as, the "idiots." He meant it in a positive manner and obviously it worked. His players were loose and at game time were ready to play together. It was obvious to this fan, that these players care for one another, even though they seem to be a bunch of misfits.

In my "post" yesterday, I asked, "how would you feel, if you were Alex Rodriquez?"
He could of been a World Series Champion.

And to you Mr. Steinbrenner: You can't always buy a World Series Championship. You didn't "do it" last year and you didn't "do it" this year either.
Hell, you can't even buy a Pennent winner.
I hope and pray that many other,
so called, Super Star players, realize that they don't have to go to New York to be a World Champion.

Yeah Red Sox!
